Trumbull sits far enough off the Sound that it loses the moderating effect of the water. Winter lows run colder and the freeze-thaw cycle is more aggressive here than in Fairfield or Westport, which is why chimney crowns and crown-to-flue joints fail faster in this town than anywhere else we work.
